Maps

Every Paint To Hide server rotates through five core maps. Each one has its own lighting engine quirks, prop density, and ambient occlusion distribution. Use this index to learn the layout, the safe zones, and the Seeker hot paths before you commit to a paint job.

Props

Props are the environmental meshes Hiders target to break their avatar silhouette. The best props offer a non-collidable hitbox, a high-density colour palette, and a position that is hard to scan from a Seeker's normal entry angle.

Paint Skins

Paint Skins are cosmetic-only recolours. Chabungus X Cache Flow explicitly enforces zero camouflage advantage to preserve competitive integrity. Pick the skin that matches your aesthetic, not your map — the in-game eyedropper reads the rendered pixel, not your skin.

Weapon Skins

Seeker weapon skins are cosmetic-only recolours of the Seeker melee weapon. None of them modify hitbox size, swing speed, or damage. They are sold directly in the in-game lobby store with Coins.

Game Modes

Paint To Hide uses one core game mode (asymmetric hide-and-seek) with two role variants — Hider and Seeker — plus mixed sub-variants. The 1:15 ratio is the default, but the Alpha Infection variant occasionally assigns two initial Seekers.
